Karsten is co-owner at Wake Cheer and Tumble with almost 20 years of experience between being an athlete and coach herself. She is really looking forward to stepping into an owner role and using her experience to generate an amazing program for the area. A big part of Karsten's life has revolved around cheer from a young age, and now her dreams have come to fruition with her own Gym and Program with her partner! She has experience from the littles to the seniors and wants to continue to grow her coaching knowledge with athletes who are also interested in her passion!

Cory Morgan
Owner & Director of Administration
Cory is a co-owner of Wake Cheer and Tumble and has over 20 years of progressive teaching and coaching experience in cheer, gymnastics, and dance. She also has a master's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and is a current head coach of the UNC-Chapel Hill Carolina Girls dance team. In addition, she is a former member of the UNCC Golddusters and numerous other companies. Cory's passion is teaching young athletes and preparing them for their future.

Hello, I’m Ty Wilson! With a passion for cheerleading that runs deep, I have been involved in the sport for 4 years- both as an athlete and as a coach. I currently assisting two local school cheer programs: Envision Science Academy (middle school) and Wake Prep (varsity/ comp team). I was apart of the first cheer team and graduating class of 2023 at Wake Prep. When I am not coaching cheer; I enjoy traveling, listening to music and hanging out with my friends. As a coach, I love fostering the love of cheer and building a community within the cheer program! Looking forward to growing with Wake Cheer and Tumble along with Wake Elite!

Hello! My name is Campbell Hoomani, and I am currently a senior at Wakefield High School. For the past 10 years, I've been passionately involved in competitive cheerleading, and it has truly become a huge part of who I am. Throughout the years, I’ve worked hard, learned invaluable lessons, and built lasting friendships through this sport. Now, I’m beyond excited to take on this new chapter and continue pursuing what I love most! The opportunity to grow even further in cheer is something I’ve always looked forward to, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me.

With over a decade of experience at a premier all-star cheerleading gym, Gabby had the privilege of earning a Silver Globe at the Cheerleading Worlds, securing a national title at NCA Nationals, and competing on the most prestigious stages in the sport. During her high school career at Heritage High School, she was a four-year member of the Varsity Cheer team, achieving the distinction of 4-time state champion and serving as Head Captain in her senior year. Her collegiate cheerleading journey began at East Carolina University, where she joined the ECU Club Cheerleading team as a freshman. She had the honor of winning NCA Nationals in 2021 and finishing second in the largest division in 2022. Following this, she earned a position on ECU’s Gameday team, where she continued to compete at the collegiate level, securing second-place finishes in both 2023 and 2024. Cheerleading has been an integral part of her life, and she is deeply passionate about the sport. She is very excited to bring her experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm to coaching and looks forward to inspiring and shaping the next generation of athletes through private lessons.

Hello everyone, my name is Olivia Arsenault! I am a student at NC State University and I am studying to become a pediatric speech therapist one day. I have been a part of the cheer world since I was only eight years old, and I have cheered for some of the top NC all star programs including CEA Raleigh and Inspire Athletics where I was fortunate enough to win summit twice and compete at some of the most prestigious competitions including NCA and Worlds! I also did sideline cheer for six years and was named my schools’ cheerleading/stunt captain junior/senior year, and I even cheered collegiately at Cambell University! Although I’ve officially retired as an athlete, cheerleading is truly a part of who I am and I am so excited to train the future of this incredible sport!

Hi, I am Sydney Johnson. I am a competitive cheerleader with over 10 years of experience. I have trained and competed at the highest levels, on the most prestigious floors in the industry. As a Worlds athlete, I have earned a Worlds Globe, Triple-Crowned, and won Grand Champion at Majors. No stranger to injury, as a coach, I have learned to value technique and mental health, as well as physical ability. When I’m not coaching, I enjoy traveling the country and competing. Beyond my own athletic achievements, I have spent the past three summers coaching and helping the next generation of cheerleaders on their skills. My priority as a coach is to enable athletes to achieve their individual goals, which helps teams reach their full potential! Look forward to seeing the growth of the next generation of athletes in the coming years.
